Angle Vale sewage scheme provided state endorsement
July 2024, Factor UTB submitted an application to the Office of the Chief Executive of the SA Department for Infrastructure and Transport, requesting project sponsorship under Section 131 of the Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act 2016 (ACT). State endorsement of the Angle Vale Sewage Scheme awarded October 2024. The Project met the definition of ‘Essential Infrastructure’ pursuant to Section 131(2)(c) of the Act. Development application for the scheme, specifically for the sewage treatment plant has been lodged with the State Planning Commission for assessment. Construction expected to commence January 2025, with commissioning completion in the third quarter 2025.
