We complete all engineering, documentation and design work inhouse including but not limited to; Process, Control (PLC & SCADA), Telemetry, Hydraulic, Electrical, Civil/Structural.

Build
Our highly experienced and technically capable team have delivered thirty-six treatment plants to date. Twelve of them have been installed here in South Australia. Each of these sewage treatment plants has been approved in accordance with SA Health and Local Government Association requirements. The Factor UTB team since 2000 have designed and constructed treatment plants varying in size from <100kL/day to more than 5ML/day.

Own
What makes Factor UTB unique in its field is that we have current and ongoing operational experience for the infrastructure that we design and deliver, or design and own.
Whether we hand over a commissioned asset or own and operate, we understand operating expenses and what is needed for operating ease and reliability. In either case Factor UTB takes a long-term view. We continually adapt and adopt infrastructure to meet the needs of our customers.
All plants have asset specific plans to ensure our infrastructure is future proof and meets the needs of stakeholders and provides a sustainable return to our investors.
Maintain
We operate assets using our own personnel or in collaboration with trusted partners.
The modern Factor UTB treatment plant does not require the Operator to have daily direct contact, with an attendance of up to 8 hours per week by a competent Operator required. A longer attendance is required once per quarter to complete instrumentation calibration and preventative maintenance works.
We regularly research emerging technologies to spot and leverage trends and react proactively for continuous improvement and best practice.
Operate
You can be assured that the service provided does not end with the connection to the wastewater treatment plant but extends well beyond the initial development to a fully supportive Customer Service.
